Western Style Japanese restaurant

We have tried the La Maison in Central in Clark quay area. I realize the restaurant increased its dinner menu. The scene to the Clark Quay and the interior gives this sense of classic western but a bit unique touch (perhaps some Gothic style)

Japanese style desert in Waraku

Puffet, Maccha Ice cream, waffles, crepe etc. all those are amazingly available here in Singapore as well. The one I am introducing you is at Marina Square. Waraku chain provides wide variety of desert as well as light meals such as curry rice and pasta.
The picture is an image of one of the recommended puffet with Sesame 胡麻 and Green Tea 緑茶 ice cream.

Unagi restaurant Chikuyotei (竹葉亭) in Akane(茜) at Japanese Association Singapore

With so much craving for Unagi Kabayaki (鰻蒲焼)and Unagi don (鰻丼), we quickly rushed to this one of the few authentic restaurant serving 鰻蒲焼 in Singapore. Pricey but worth it when comes to price performance. After all cheap Unagi are not recommended in terms of hygiene and quality.
This restaurant is located in 4th floor of Japanese Association. The Unagi is also served at Chikuyotei located on ground floor of Intercontinental Hotel.

Din Tai Fung in Singapore (Chinese puffs)

Famous Xiao Long Bao 小籠包 of Din Tai Fung is available in several location in Singapore, including Citi Hall, Sommerset 313, Paragon, Marina Bay Financial Centre etc. Not only the 小籠包 but also their豆沙包, 牛肉湯 is my favorite.

Ya Hua Bah Ku Teh (肉骨茶)

The first shop I was taken in Singapore for Bah Ku Teh. Though the taste is generally pepper based and not so Chinese Herb type as often seen in the neighboring Malaysia, it is in my opinion one of the best in Singapore.this is located in Isetan office building along Havelock road.

Ramen "nantsutei"

Second shop of Nantsutei but slightly into Tonkotsu soup, Nantsutei has been operative in the building next to Cuppage plaza. This akafuku ramen costs around 15.00SGD. No upsize of noodle. Taste is good but not too impressive. The hospitality is just like in Japan.
