Soon Soon Seafood wok

There are a few Chinese restaurants that my dear friends introduced me. I am introducing this one for now. The name is Soon Soon Seafood wok. It's locate along a row of historic shoppete along the old Havelock road. Most dish is nice especially the home made bean curd. If you want chili, it is recommended to book beforehand. If you walk in early, say around 7pm, then there is not much crowd but After 8pm it gets a bit crowded with locals.
As for alcohol, they only hold Beers but allow ordering from the neighbor bar. They seem not charge any margin on this practice. They claim no service charge no tax. I ordered wine for this time.

McDonald in east coast park

Though this may be one of the usual McDonald's in Singapore, this one is one the spacious and cleanest McDonald's in town.

Once it used to be Crystal Jade Seafood BBQ, now it turned into MacDonald's at 1202 East Coast Parkway #01-01. Don't mix up with one more near to the city in the mall with 7 eleven or coffee beans.

Just one reason I wanted to drop by. This one has a clean toilet and I wanted to try out the new wasabi filet-o-fish.

KU DÉ TA at Marina Bay Sands sky garden level

KU DÉ TA on the Sands SkyPark is situated on the sky garden level of the Marina Bay Sands. There is a restaurant, bar and a club lounge, attaracting many locals and tourists. Though I failed to reserve a seat for dinner, I still managed to come up to the bar around 10pm. The access to the sky garden is usually limited to ticket holders, who paid 20SGD, but for visitors to the Ku De ta, the 20SGD is waived by accessing via dedicated lift. The scene, admosphere is great, but I suggest avoiding Fridays and Weekends. I was up there on mid week, but still quite a lot of people were fighting for space.

Imperial Treasure Fine Chinese Cuisine in Marina Bay Sands

Imperial Treasure Fine Chinese Cuisine is one of the restaurant placed on the special floor on the Casino side building. From this floor you can see most of the casino floor layout. The restaurant itself serves most Chinese delicacies including Beijing Duck, etc.

Yuton Saikan Ichi-ni-san (遊豚菜彩 いちにいさん) (Pork ShabuShabu restaurant)

This is a restaurant where my colleague took me when i traveled to Tokyo. This place serves pork shabu-shabu shop with soba soup, which I thought quite an interesting combination. Located on the basement level of Kaletta Shiidome (カレッタ汐留) not too far from the Shinbashi station area. I heard they use the famous Kagoshima kurobuta. Have a look at the varity they serve on the set menu "3".
Name of restaurant: Yutonsaisai Ichi Ni San Shiodome branch.

Udon noodle in Singapore Lau Pasat

I have been a loyal fan of this Udon outlet since its opening in late 2011. The shop owner Fujii san has established a land mark shop in the famous Lau Pa Sat hawker centre in Raffles place area. One of my favorite is the Bukkake Udon. The noodle is manufactured inside the shop kitchen which makes the noodle especially tasty and firm.

G7 Liang Kee Restaurant

I have been having quite a lot of Chili Crab restaurant such as No Sign Board. But these high class ones are mostly for foreigners like myself. Having living here more than an year I was looking for more inexpensive, down to earth style restaurant where I can try Chili Crab. G7 Liang Kee Restaurant at no737 Havelock Road 169653, is one of the restaurant I was recommended. The place was fairly full with locals, though it was in the middle of weekday.
Chili crab per kg is around 38sgd and it included lots of meat! Though I failed to identify whether they served the famous sweet bun, the menu they had seem to cover quite a variety. It is highly recommended to book to get hold of the crabs. You may need to have some command of Mandarin, especially when you book via phone, as some waitress speak little English.
