Castle Neuschwanstein

Dinner in Rotenberg

Traditional German Dinner? in Rotenberg. I forgot the name of the restaurant but I guess you can definitely locate this place once you are in the town.

Rotenberg (Germany)

We joined the Romantische Straße tour in 2008 winter. One of the impressive location we stayed is Rothenburg, the town of jewels, The hotel was also very nice.

Christmas Market (Germany)

Winter in Europe? Why bother to visit in such a cold weather? Well one of the good reasons would be the scenery and the shopping you can enjoy in squares. Especially in Germany, Christmas markets are very popular and worth dropping by at each shops.

Hot Red wines! I still keep the cups until now.

baked potato with warm fruits jam

Pearl Liang (Paddington London)

Every once in a while when we were living in London, and after the Church meeting on Sunday lunch time, we went out for a nice dim sum without so much of a crowd. This Pearl Liang Restaurant is located in the back of Paddington Station in a newly developed area (8 Sheldon Square). Quite chic looking, isn't it?

Hotel in Venice (inland area)

Ai Pini Park Hotel in Mestre district of Venice. This is not in the island but a few stops by bus. It is actually not bad at all to stay inland and commute to Venice island by bus. Usually the hotels in the island are very aging, or very expensive to keep up with the infrastructure. As you see in the photo, the interior, the service was quite nice.

British Sunday Roast

This is not in a restaurant but a home made cuisine on one Sunday afternoon. Simply roast meat and steamed vegetables, but very tasteful and filling. You must try this if you are in UK.

Yo! Sushi in London

I used to live in London a few years ago around 2008-2009. One of the affordable Sushi turnstile type restaurant is this Yo! Sushi. Unless you are wealthy as expats, business owners, corporate executives, it is really hard to come to authentic sushi restaurant in London. Even so, I would really doubt whether cost is worth of quality here. But Yo! Sushi is one of the shops for mid class or students, just as I was at that time.

Natural Style restaurant (in Ebina Kanagawa Japan)

in my home town in Japan, there is this so called English and Japanese fusion and natural style restaurant chain called 茶屋亜希子 (Chaya Akiko, or tea house Akiko) near the Ebina City hall.

They have this lovely lunch set offered in around 1500JPY.

Ice Cream Sandwitch (Singapore style?)

One interesting method to have an ice cream. Holding between bread as sandwitch. I heard this is also seen in Taiwan as well, but never confirmed yet. At least I would say this is a Singapore style for the time being.
