Scoot (new low cost airline)

Launched its first flight in 2012, Scoot is a new player to enter the market which is also based in Singapore. We used their flight between Bangkok and Singapore. The round trip per head cost was around 250 SGD, the lowest when we compared with SQ, Air Asia, Tiger, Jet Star, Thai Air.
Overall impression is good. The quality you get with the price is reasonable for flights extending for two hours. They are flying to Sydney, Gold Coast, Tian Jin from Singapore: for these flights you may be warned for the limitation of services, space of seats if you go for the cheapest seats.
Some note: 1) website do not provide web check in. Need to be at airport well in advance. 2) payment method is limited and in case of credit card payment they will charge additional handling fee (e.g. around 25SGD per head), 3) Flight to Tokyo (Narita?) via Taipei (TaoYuan?) is not up yet though all brochure show as if it is available now.
